7.21.2010 | Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse
PHILADELPHIA -- R.J. Every (Lansdale Catholic), Dan Geary (Lansdale Catholic), Pam Moyer (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown), Alycia Tranchitella (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) and Nick Coan (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) all were selected to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Teams as selected by the area sports information directors which feature student-athletes from the local Division I, II, and III institutions with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

PHILADELPHIA – Senior Chris Lawler, senior Kate Schmid, sophomore Brian Hill and sophomore John McSorley have been named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team for their respective sports. The academic all-area teams are voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Immaculata University’s Andrew Sim and John Cacchio were honored as members of the 2010 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Men’s Lacrosse Team as released on July 13.  Sim and Cacchio are two of 12 student-athletes from around the Philadelphia area selected to the academic all-area team. Honorees are voted on by sports information offices at the 28 institutions in the surrounding Philadelphia metropolitan area.

RADNOR, Pa. – Casey Grugan (Ridley, Pa./Ridley HS), Cabrini’s all-time leader in career points, was selected in the 8th round of the 2010 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) draft by the Chicago Machine on Sunday at Yale University’s Lanman Center. Grugan is the first Cavalier in program history to be drafted by an MLL franchise.
