PHILADELPHIA -- R.J. Every (Lansdale Catholic), Dan Geary (Lansdale Catholic), Pam Moyer (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown), Alycia Tranchitella (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) and Nick Coan (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) all were selected to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Teams as selected by the area sports information directors which feature student-athletes from the local Division I, II, and III institutions with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

PHILADELPHIA – Senior Chris Lawler, senior Kate Schmid, sophomore Brian Hill and sophomore John McSorley have been named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team for their respective sports. The academic all-area teams are voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

RADNOR, Pa. – Senior attack Amanda Alexandrowicz (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley HS) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Metro Region First Team, the organization announced today. Senior attack Erin Nollen (West Chester, Pa./Henderson HS) and senior goalkeeper Kate Schmid (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert’s HS) have received IWLCA Metro Region Second Team accolades.

College of Notre Dame’s Lauren Terry Named to CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team

BALTIMORE- College of Notre Dame senior women's lacrosse midfielder Lauren Terry (Towson, MD/Catholic) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America® District 2 Women's At-Large Second Team. She is the first Notre Dame student-athlete to earn Academic All-District honors since lacrosse student-athlete Tina Money '08 and swimming student-athlete Lauren Ackerman '08 earned Women's At-Large First Team honors in 2007. Terry is just the third Notre Dame lacrosse student-athlete in program history to be named CoSIDA Academic All-District, and is the only student-athlete selected from the Colonial States Athletic Conference to be represented on the Academic All-District At-Large teams.
