Aston, PA - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has recognized 8 Colonial States Athletic Conference student-athletes for their excellence in the classroom during the 2008-09 academic year.
From College of Notre Dame Amanda Hubbel (Jr, Mathematics), Lauren Terry (Jr, Biology), Kristen Clarke (Sr, Mathematics/Physics) and Ashley Demski (Jr, Elemenary Education) were honored.
Marywood University's Alexandra Sodl (Jr, Nutrition) and Kelly Kuzicki (Jr, Art Education and Physical Education) were also honored as both helped the Pacers to a CSAC playoff berth last season in just the second year of the women's lacrosse program.
Rachel DiCicco (Sr, Education) and Gabriela D'Ambrosio (Sr, Education) from Neumann University also received IWLCA Academic All-Americans.
All student-athletes were nominated by their institutions and have attained at least junior standing academically. Nominees considered had a GPA of at least 3.5 or were in the top 10 percent of their squad.
