Colonial States Athletic Conference

Allentown, PA (February 19, 2010) – Senior Kelly Oakes (Wilmington,
DE/Delcastle) sure did leave her mark as one of the top basketball
players in Cedar Crest basketball history.  Oakes netted her 1,000th
career rebound in a 65-42 victory over Baptist Bible College on Friday
evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference action in Cedar Crest’s
final game of the season.  

Oakes is just the second player in Cedar Crest history to reach the
1,000 point and 1,000 rebound club.  She finished her stellar career at
Cedar Crest with 1,149 points, 1,005 rebounds, and 349 assists.  She
posted her 10th double-double of the season, hitting for 16 points and
17 rebounds, while also dishing out six assists.
