Aston, Pa.- Cabrini College's Women's Lacrosse team has been selected the pre-season favorite in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) coaches' poll. The 2009 conference champions received eight out of a possible nine first place votes earning them 80 points.
"Cabrini is thrilled and honored to be voted the preseason favorite in the CSAC. We are looking forward to the start of the 2010 season," said Cabrini head coach, Jackie Neary.
Conference runner-up, Gwynedd-Mercy College, came in second with 70 points. Neumann University was selected to finish third, earning 61 points. Marywood University (54), Centenary College (44), Immaculata University (33), College Notre Dame (28), Cedar Crest College (24) and Rosemont College (12)rounded out the voting.
