Colonial States Athletic Conference

Springfield PA – The Marywood University Pacers captured The Colonial States Athletic Conference Team Championship defeating the Neumann University Knights 5-2 in the finals. It is the programs third title, but first automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.

The Knights captured two of the three doubles to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. Maywood’s second-singles Bolus defeated Neumann’s Bridgeman 6-3, 6-2 to start the team rolling. Within seconds the one-singles, three-singles, and five-singles from Marywood beat Neumann giving them the come from behind 5-2 win.

The NCAA Championship seeding has yet to be determined with play starting the weekend of May 15-16.
