CSAC Coaches Pick Cavaliers to Finish First in Men's Soccer

Aston, Pa. - Cabrini College's Men's Soccer team has been selected as the pre-season favorite in The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) coaches' poll.  The 2009 CSAC Conference Champions received six of ten possible first place votes, earning 93 points to secure the top spot over Neumann University.

"We are very honored to be selected as the preseason favorite to win The Colonial States Athletic Conference," said Cavalier Head Coach Glen Jaskelewicz." We will do our best with a very young team to live up to those expectations."

Neumann University earned a total of 90 points for a strong second place showing.  2009 CSAC conference runner-ups, Immaculata University, were selected third with 78 points.

Marywood University received 74 points for a fourth place finish.  Gwynedd-Mercy College received 60 points to place fifth.  Rosemont College (45), Centenary College (42), Philadelphia Biblical University (29), Baptist Bible College (20), and Keystone College (19) rounded out the voting.

The 2010 CSAC Championship begins with quarterfinal action on Tuesday November 2nd.  The CSAC Championship Game is set for Saturday, November 6th at the highest remaining seed.
