Keystone's Meletiche named preseason All-American
LaPLUME, PA: Keystone College senior Esteban Meletiche has been named a 2012 d3baseball.com preseason First Team All-American. The second baseman is the reigning two-time Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and was a d3baseball.com Second Team All-American following the 2011 campaign.
Meletiche was an integral part of the Giants' run to the semifinal of the 2011NCAA Divsion-III World Series, as he batted .423 (77-for-182) with 11 homers, 14 doubles, 46 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases. The 2009 CSAC Rookie of the Year, he started all 50 games for the Giants, who finished 38-12.
